Material composition and performance indicators: aluminum-magnesium alloy contains aluminum and the appropriate amount of magnesium, its density is usually between 2.6 - 2.9g/cm³, compared with the traditional steel greatly reduced. Yield strength is generally up to 200 - 350MPa, tensile strength between 300 - 450MPa, can meet the strength requirements of most petrochemical material storage.
Silo capacity and size specifications: Silos of different capacities and sizes can be customized according to customer requirements, with capacities ranging from a few cubic meters to thousands of cubic meters. Before installation, detailed investigation of the installation site is required to ensure that the site is level, solid, and has sufficient bearing capacity to support the aluminum-magnesium alloy silo and its weight when fully loaded. According to the design specifications of the silo and the surrounding environment, rational planning of the installation location, to ensure that the silo and other equipment, buildings have sufficient safety distance.
Before the first operation, the silo should be fully cleaned, check the silo body, inlet, outlet, valves and other key components of the installation and function is normal, to ensure that there is no damage or failure potential. Strictly test the sealing performance of the silo to ensure that there is no leakage.
During operation, establish a regular inspection system, focusing on checking the sealing performance of the silo, wall corrosion, safety devices (such as ventilation devices, pressure monitoring devices, etc.) of the working state. According to the nature of the material and storage time, reasonable arrangements for silo maintenance program, such as regular anticorrosive treatment of the silo, inspection and cleaning of the ventilation device, calibration of the pressure monitoring device, etc., to ensure that the silo is always in a good state of operation.
Long-term out of service or seasonal out of service equipment, before decommissioning the silo should be emptied of materials, the silo thoroughly cleaned internally to prevent residual material caking or corrosion of the silo. Comprehensive inspection and maintenance of all parts of the silo, do a good job of anti-rust, anti-corrosion treatment, will be wearing parts properly stored.
