Recently, the gearbox of CRH380B type train set with 380km/h speed ‘Harmony’ developed by South High Gear won the trial certificate of CRCC railway product certification.

South high gear for CRH380B gear transmission system, to carry out basic research, process technology research, prototype trial production, test technology research and other work, the formation of independent intellectual property rights, the technical indicators have reached the international advanced level.

At the same time, through the investment of high-speed rolling stock gear transmission system test and verification equipment, simulation design software, trial production of special equipment, the construction of international first-class test and verification platform, collaborative simulation platform and product platform, to lead the development of high-speed ≥ 250km/h high-speed rolling stock gear transmission system technology, in order to replace the imported products, and gradually form the ability of industrialisation.

After 4 years, South High Gear recently successfully obtained CRCC railway product certification trial certificate, which means that the gearboxes developed by South High Gear for CRH380B rolling stock have the qualification of product application assessment.

250 km/h ‘Fuxing’ train set gearbox through expert review ‘Fuxing’ train set is a real ‘Made in China’, in its use of 254 important standards, Chinese standards accounted for 84%. Of the 254 important standards used, 84% are Chinese standards. At present, the 350km/h ‘Fuxing’ train set has been successfully developed and put into operation on line, and the 250km/h ‘Fuxing’ train set is under intensive development.

Under the leadership of China Railway Corporation, South High Gear, as a ‘corporate R&D team’, makes full use of the R&D experience accumulated in the gearbox of CRH380B to carry out a series of project research and development.

The gearbox adopts one-level parallel helical gear transmission, splash oil bath lubrication, split cast aluminium alloy case, pancake-type boom suspension, non-contact labyrinth sealing structure and gearbox ground return structure, with high-density power, strong load-bearing, high reliability, easy to maintain, and able to adapt to -40 ℃ - 40 ℃ of extreme weather.

In the evaluation meeting, the participating experts reviewed the gearbox technical programme, manufacturing process, quality control and type test report.

After questioning and discussion, they unanimously agreed to pass the evaluation of the technical scheme of PSH370-01 gearbox for 250km/h ‘Fuxing’ train sets, which marks that PSH has the qualification of getting on board 250km/h ‘Fuxing’ train sets.
