Typical spectrum of gearboxes eliminates common faults in gearboxes through spectrum analysis

In the actual test system, the vibration decays very quickly due to the damping of the system under test. In order to obtain reliable data for the test, it is necessary to set various parameters of the test instrument according to the vibration condition and vibration frequency of the component (such as sampling frequency, number of lines, amplification factor, etc.), and the sensor should select a suitable mounting position and fix. In order to ensure good transferability, the impact signal of the hammer and the vibration response signal of the impacted component have a high correlation. The vibration of the High-speed Gearboxes and Industrial Gearboxes increases with the increase of the load. The vibration of each measuring point of the gearbox shows that the vibration in the vertical direction is greater than the axial and horizontal directions, and the vibration has a certain orientation. At the same time, the vibration of the compressor coupling side is also large. The vibration of the free end of the motor and compressor is small. Therefore, it can be concluded that the vibration of the unit is mainly manifested in the gear box, whether it's a Standard Industrial Gearbox, a Mining Excavation Gearbox, or a Chemical mixing gearbox.

The analysis of the vibration spectrum in this test system analyzes the measuring points of the gearbox and finds that the main frequency component is 290 Hz. The frequency of the water-cooled screw unit is 5 times the frequency of the high-speed shaft of the gearbox, and the vibration amplitude is up to 18.3 m. The typical spectrum of the gearbox is analyzed by spectrum, which eliminates the common faults of the gearbox. Combined with the analysis of the total vibration before, it is found that the vibration of the gearbox in the vertical direction is greater than the axial and horizontal directions. The vibration has a certain directionality and the vibration amplitude. It increases with the increase of load and is sensitive to changes in load. Moreover, the frequency of the main frequency component of the vibration is higher than 5 times the rotational frequency, and the amplitude of the vibration is also very large. Therefore, it is suspected that the gearbox has the possibility of resonance, similar to what might be observed in a Power Plant Conveying Gearbox, a Gearbox for plate rolling mills or an MLX Series Vertical Mill Gearbox.
