Nanjing High Precision Gear Group has obtained patents for a new type of vertical mill gearbox output seal structure and a new type of vertical mill gearbox, which can reduce the probability of oil leakage.

On 11th December 2024, the State Intellectual Property Office (IPO) showed that Nanjing High Precision Gear Group Co., Ltd. has obtained a patent titled ‘New type of vertical mill gearbox output sealing structure and new type of vertical mill gearbox’, with authorisation number CN 222122190 U and application date of February 2024, the abstract of the patent shows that this application provides a new type of vertical mill gearbox output sealing structure and a new type of vertical mill gearbox, involving the field of gearboxes.

According to the abstract of the patent, the present application provides a new type of vertical mill gearbox output sealing structure and a new type of vertical mill gearbox, and relates to the field of gearbox. The new vertical mill gearbox output sealing structure includes a box, an output flange, a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The box is connected to the output flange, and the two cooperate to define an oil storage cavity, the first seal is provided with a first labyrinth circuit and a return hole connected to the first labyrinth circuit, the first seal is connected to the box, and the return hole is connected to the oil storage cavity; the second seal is provided with a second labyrinth circuit, the second seal is connected to the output flange, and the first labyrinth circuit is plugged with the second labyrinth circuit. The sealing structure can reduce the probability of oil leakage, is not easy to affect the external environment, operates in an environmentally friendly manner, reduces maintenance costs, and reduces operating costs.
